CARPENTRY SERVICES

My woodworking passion and abilities shine through when I get to construct, renovate, erect and repair structures made of wood, wood substitutes, steel and other materials. Working with my hands and seeing a concept come into reality is why I enjoy working as a skilled carpenter.

You need the right tool for the job, and not only do I have an extensive list of power and hand tools, but I have a full carpentry shop to complete any special projects that requires additional space or large table saws.

PLANNING & QUALITY CONTROL

Before starting a project, I review drawings and ensure I understand the project goals, design concepts, budget, and timelines with my client. I then diligently select building materials, methods of work, subtrades and submit permit applications.

Once I start a project, I am sure to properly measure and mark materials before cutting or joining, and I am always sure to triple-check my work to ensure it is level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location.

FRAMING

Framing is the skeleton of the home, and is one of the most important aspects of building. Whether it’s constructing a new home or office building using engineering drawings, adding a basement suite, or a privacy wall to a foyer, I will construct framing that is sure to hold the required weight and provide the desired room separation.

INSULATION & DRYWALL

My extensive knowledge of heat and noise insulation materials allow me to select insulation and drywall products that will provide the warmth and privacy the client requires, while also staying within their budget.

I am meticulous when hanging drywall to ensure all joints, corners, lights and electrical sockets line up perfectly. Was your kid practicing his slap shot in the house again? No sweat. I can mud and tape small holes and scratches, or replace a large piece of drywall from an indoor cross-check.

DOORS, WINDOWS & SKYLIGHTS

Once the windows and doors are framed, it’s time to add these critical elements and their hardware to keep the critters out and the heat in. I can help you select the right windows or doors for the space, then ensure they are level, air tight, and close on a dime.

FLOORING, STAIRS & HANDRAILS

The importance of flooring can’t be overstated. It is the most heavily used surface of your home, and makes ones of the biggest impacts in terms of design. Not only do I have years of installing pre-fabricated stair sets, treads, subfloor, hardwood, laminate, and carpet tiles, but I can assist in selecting flooring that will wow your guests, and stand up to the test of time – or your 100-pound lap dog.

CABINETRY & APPLIANCE INSTALLATION

Have a new bathroom vanity or full set of kitchen cabinets to install? It’s a smart idea to call in a pro who has the right tools to ensure these often-pricy items are installed correctly. Even a slightly off-centered or unlevel cabinet can become and eye sore, and if they aren’t tightly secured to the wall or lined up correctly to plumbing and electrical components, it can become a big safety concern as well.

PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL

Have a small electrical or plumbing job to complete, such as adding the finishing touches to a bathroom or kitchen? I have the tools and the skills to install everything from rain shower heads and faucets to bathtubs and toilets.

Do you want to add more pot lights, install a ceiling fan, or move an electrical outlet? No need to research and call in additional trades, I can handle any small electrical or plumbing tasks you may have.
